The Peak is a resource hub that empowers those affected by breast and gynecologic cancers to feel confident and informed when making decisions surrounding their health and wellness, brought to you by The Breasties.
Our mission is to help you reach your peaks and navigate your valleys with medically-reviewed guides, community-backed resources, and impactful personal essays. We keep those impacted by breast and gynecologic cancer front and center always, no matter your diagnosis, age, race, gender, or other identities. We honor our shared experiences while respecting the ways that cancer might impact us differently.
Whether you’re trying to understand a new diagnosis, are looking for tried-and-true post-surgery recovery tips, or simply want to hear from someone who gets it like no one else can, The Peak is here for you. Afterall, we know that having access to information is a critical first step to being able to advocate for yourself and your community, in the doctor’s office and beyond.
Our mission is to empower you to feel confident and informed when making decisions surrounding your health and wellness.
However, it is important to note that information shared on The Peak—even that from relevant experts—is not medical advice. Everyone is different and the best option for one person may not be what’s best for another. Our aim is for The Peak’s expert-vetted guides, community-supported resources, and powerful narratives to illuminate the full range of possibilities available to you.
We encourage you to share what you learn with your medical team so you can make the best decision for you, with your personal medical history and care goals in mind.
